When BluesCulture perform, songs seem to evolve organically and attheir own pace, frequently without any conscious planning on the partof the band. These tunes were recorded at three concerts in and aroundHamburg in January and March 2009 and combine elements from countryblues, rock'n'roll, funk, roots music and more, highlighting themusicians' individual styles while reflecting a clearly defined bandconcept. The live shows unmistakeably underline the shamanistic side ofperforming music, where band and audience come together as one tocelebrate a trance-like state of mutual ecstasy, rather than justacceding to the demands of show business.
